Cnc Operator

Tailor Made are excited to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering company based in Burnley. Our client is currently seeking a CNC Machine Operator to join their successful company on a permanent basis. Main Duties: * Set up tools and load materials onto CNC machine * Carry out machining of components * To measure components produced on machines and use inspection equipment to ensure that components are manufactured to drawing dimensions and tolerances * Read, interpret and work from engineering drawings * Contribute to a team working environment * Contribute to continuous improvement * Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations * Manually handle weights up to 25kg * Complete quality documentation * Use computer equipment for data purposes * Work to lean theory (5s) Ideal candidate: * Have experience of working with stainless steels and machine programming using Fanuc/Okuma/Mazak CNC controls * Is proficient at set up, operation and adjustment of tool and fixture offsets on CNC machine tools aswell as conventional milling machines would be preferred * Have experience with working to tight tolerances Working hours: Nights: Monday – Thursday 10pm - 7.30am By submitting your CV to Tailor Made you are consenting to Tailor Made providing you with recruitment services as an agency defined under the Employment Agencies Act 1973 and authorising Tailor Made to work seek on your behalf.
